According to The Daily Express, Dr. Vincent Lin from the University of Tasmania suggests that recent signals from the missing aircraft may offer clues about its final location. In an upcoming article in Navigation Magazine, Dr. Lin examines satellite data to reconstruct MH370’s flight path before its disappearance, challenging previous claims that the plane fell into an uncontrollable high-speed dive after exhausting its fuel.
A new theory posits that the flight’s disappearance was deliberate. Dr. Wren, supported by air accident investigator Larry Vance, highlights evidence from wreckage analysis that suggests the plane was under controlled descent when it went down, indicating a planned effort to make the aircraft vanish.
“This shifts the narrative from an innocent accident caused by fuel starvation to a deliberate act,” said Dr. Wren.
Dr. Ryan also emphasizes that damage to MH370’s wings and flaps resembles that from controlled landings, such as the 2009 Hudson River incident involving an American Airlines plane. New research narrows the possible crash site to a deep, sediment-filled trench near Broken Ridge in the southern Indian Ocean. This location, described as a “perfect hiding place,” is challenging to search but offers a promising lead.
In a LinkedIn announcement for his forthcoming study, Dr. Ryan expressed optimism that resolving the MH370 mystery could bring closure to the victims’ families. The research proposes targeted searches in the southern Indian Ocean, bolstered by evidence of regular satellite communications with Inmarsat, further supporting the controlled descent theory.
If authorities accept the possibility of a carefully orchestrated disappearance, future investigations may finally uncover the truth. However, accepting such a deliberate plan remains a difficult proposition for many.
